| Tin ceilings were first introduced in
the late 1800's for both residential and commercial use. Initially,
they were considered to be a practical way to cover damaged plaster.
It wasn't long, however, before people realized that the panels provided a
manner in which to achieve an expensive hand-carved plaster look at a
fraction of the cost. Metal ceilings now provide a relatively easy
and inexpensive way to create a permanent, decorative look.

Have a "plain
old" drop ceiling ? |
| Volko Supply can make it easy for you to
spruce up a room by simply sliding in a metal ceiling under your
existing tiles without removing or changing the old tiles or grid system.
STEP 1 Check your grid
system. If it is clean and you are happy with the color, go to STEP
2. If not, clean and or paint it. (Tip...Its an easy project
if you paint the grid while the old tiles are in, you are covering them
anyway.)
STEP 2 Count the tiles.
Measure to see if they are 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' and do not forget to count
the edges. If half tiles or less are used count 2 half tiles as 1
piece. Why have waste.
STEP 3 Pick a design or two
out of our panel and cornice section below . Pick a metal ( copper, brass, chrome plated,

have 2' x 2' or 2' by 4' and the amount of pieces. If you include

STEP 4
Once your order is received, just slip them in under the existing
tiles. Why send them to a land fill, they will act as an insulation,
help with sound control and prevent movement caused by air
distribution. That is it, enjoy your new room.
