INSTALL
A FLUE WRAP QUICKLY & EASILY!

The half
brick design panels have 45 degree corners that line up for a
"no seam" look.

Aluminum "no rust" chase
cover and flashing are included.

Chase top has pre-cut round center
opening.
Optional storm collars are available. |

On the
ground:
1) Establish roof pitch of Home
2) Prepare to
cut......Lay unit on its side.
3) Using drawing determine angle / pitch to be cut. (Example 3/12 pitch = 5
¼ in. up from bottom back corner of Flue Wrap)
4) Draw line from bottom front corner to desired roof pitch. (example 5
1/4"up=3/12pitch) mark and cut with circular saw. (carbide saw blade,
recommended)
5) Repeat step #4 on opposite side.
6) After both sides (angles) are cut, draw a straight line connecting each
side, now cut back side. (caution: do not cut front 36" side) Roof
pitch cut is now complete.
7) Attach flange bracket to inside / back of flue wrap with 4 - 3/16 in.
rivets, provided.

On the roof:
8) Remove spark arrester and storm collar from fireplace flue pipe.

9) Using Flue Wrap lid. Center flue wrap over / around fireplace flue pipe,
mark location and remove lid.
10) Attach Flue Wrap to roof using galvanized lag screws, provided. (Be sure to
apply Adequate silicone under flange and around screw holes)
11) Apply an even bead of sealant across rear & sides "on the bottom" of flue
wrap. (Leave front open for air flow and water drainage)
12) Place lid over flue pipe and position securely on unit. (silicone use,
optional)
13) Replace spark arrester and storm collar on fireplace flue pipe.

x t e n s I o n" Installation Instructions
Remove spark arrester, storm collar and lid of Flue Wrap. Apply ¼ in. bead
of silicone to top surface & aluminum vertical inserts of extension. Being
careful to align "half brick design" carefully place extension into
top of Flue Wrap and press firmly. Replace lid, storm collar and spark
arrester.

Remember roof pitches may vary, due to the construction and assembly of your
home.
